HB Software Solutions (HBSS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Delhi Technological University (DTU) in order to develop intra-campus transportation. With DTU, HBSS will be working to improve cost efficiency, lower C02 emissions, and ensure the safety of student commuters. HBSS will also be pursuing research and capacity-building in the fields of Information Technology and Electric Vehicles alongside the university.
This memorandum was established under the Delhi Act 6 of 2009 by the Government of NCT of Delhi, with the intention to, “achieve excellence in higher technical education.” Working with HBSS is part of a city-wide effort to improve and invest in higher education.
Specifically, HBSS is working to improve the efficiency of DC motors and reusable batteries. The goal is to optimize the DTU transportation system to fit the needs of the community, as well as account for environmental sustainability.
To honor this collaboration, HBSS was invited to a formal inauguration ceremony on May 4th at the DTC campus. University Vice Chancellor, Professor Yogesh Singh, and other senior faculty members presented the DTU-HBSS Electric Vehicle to the community. HBSS was represented at the event by Anuj Gupta, Manish Malik, and Harsh Gaur.
HBSS has a special interest in partnering with the Delhi Technological University as our founder, Mr. Himanshu Bhatnagar, is an alumni of the school (then called the Delhi College of Engineering). We are excited to solve the University’s complex transportation problems and to invest in better education in Delhi.
