The Executive Office of Health and Human Services in Massachusetts proposed the consolidation of brokerage service areas providing non-emergency HST into three larger service areas. Beginning July 1st, 2021, Montachusett Regional Transit Authority (MART) and the Greater Attleboro-Taunton Regional Transit Authority (GATRA) will operate the Human Services Transportation (HST) brokerage in western, northeastern and southeastern Massachusetts. MART will operate regions 1 and 2 and GATRA will operate in area 3.
Using the QRyde software, MART and GATRA will manage ride coordination services to provide NEMT transportation using over 300 transportation providers in the entire state. The QRyde platform will allow consumers, brokers and transportation providers to seamlessly co-ordinate rides and communicate using mobile apps, web portals and AI based algorithms. HBSS is excited to provide a statewide solution and partner with both MART and GATRA to provide efficient transportation utilizing existing transportation assets.
