The Coordinated Transportation Department of the Coastal Regional Commission (CRC) provides coordinated human service and rural public transit services across 10 counties and 35 municipalities within the coastal region of Georgia – including Bryan, Bulloch, Camden, Chatham, Effingham, Glynn, Liberty, Long, McIntosh, and Screven counties and respective municipalities. CRC operates a system of 62 buses and covers a service area of over 5,100 square miles virtually eliminating county lines thus allowing passengers to seamlessly travel regionally. They are a demand-response, advance-reservation regional rural public transit program coordinating human services transportation as well as private contract service on one fleet of vehicles. This allows them to generate efficiencies such as better utilization of resources and expansion of transportation option for riders.
QRyde is pleased to announce this partnership and look forward to helping CRC continue to provide these vital transportation services to their members by streamlining data and systems with our cloud-based technology in order to save time and resources.
