West River Transit Authority, Inc. dba Prairie Hills Transit (PHT) recently partnered with QRyde to accomplish the goals of the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Accelerating Innovative Mobility (AIM) initiative. The critical achievement was developing and deploying an AI-based dispatch system which optimizes PHT’s paratransit operations and enables PHT to manage more rides with the same number of dispatchers, significantly improving the efficiency and effectiveness of their operations.
AI-based dispatch system are revolutionary and were developed and deployed to replace the current human-operated dispatch model, automating the decisions currently made by human dispatchers, using real-time data to drive decisions, including:
- driver apps
- consumer apps
- text/voice notification systems
The new system, named DISPATCH360 by QRyde is a game-changer in transportation operations.
